Denise Dormer
GCN Project & IT Manager
Denise started her career in law firms and for many years worked as IT & Practice Manager. After having her first child she decided to set up her own IT company which has been going strong for over 20 years.
In 2018 she was introduced to Suffolk FWAG and worked with Anna to create their website, which continues to evolve. Denise continued working with FWAG taking on their IT.
During recent years Denise has undertaken management of the Great Crested Newt Pond Project for Suffolk FWAG, which restores and creates ponds within the farming community.
When not knee deep in ponds, Denise can be found spending quality time with her Husband, two children, Granddaughter, and mini home zoo, especially her beloved dog Mavis. Denise is very much an animal lover and has completed two London Marathon’s to raise money and awareness for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. She continues to support them whenever and however she can.

Chris Knock – 1957-2024 – Chairman
The Thinking Farmer
Chris had a long and distinguished career across the agricultural and agri-environmental landscape, pioneering and leading by example. We were honoured when Chris saw the potential in Suffolk FWAG, and agreed to become our chairman.
Chris is often described as the thinking farmer due to his insightful problem solving skills on farm. He was an early adopter of regenerative farming practices to replenish and restore his farm’s soil, both with nutrients and organic matter. His most recent endeavour focussed on the local flooding and water quality by creating reedbeds across his farm to slow down and filter the water, whilst exploring funding to do so.
Because of this approach, Chris continues to inspire the SFWAG team to honour his legacy by producing, sustaining and championing innovative, ecology lead, sustainable solutions to the problems facing agriculture.
